Pritchitt Partners Pty Ltd was founded in 2003 to provide specialist public relations and communications advice for investment, professional and financial services organisations. It is a family business operated by Claudia and Jim Pritchitt.
About Claudia Pritchitt
Claudia has over fourteen years’ public relations consulting experience in Australia and the UK.
While she has been around public relations most of her life, including working part-time in Corporate Communications Pty Ltd while at school, she started her professional career as a public relations consultant in the UK in 1997, including time in the country’s largest independent public relations agency, Key Communications, working with major international brands.
Returning to Australia in 1999, Claudia worked on a range of business-to-business accounts with a leading Sydney consultancy, before helping set up Pritchitt Partners.
In particular, she specialises in financial and investment media relations and retains excellent working relationships with journalists in this area.
Claudia is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA). She has a Bachelor of Arts degree (English and History) from the University of Sydney.
About Jim Pritchitt
Jim has over thirty years’ public relations consulting experience covering all aspects of assisting organisations with their communication needs.
He founded Corporate Communications Pty Ltd in 1976, which became a top six public relations company in Sydney, before selling it to the international Shandwick Group in 1986.
Since then, Jim has advised and assisted a number of leading Australian organisations in all aspects of corporate public relations, reputation management, and communications strategy with particular focus on the role of media relations in influencing and forming opinion. He is particularly skilled in strategy development and assisting clients implement communications activities that help them meet their business aims.
Jim is a fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA), and as a fellow of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), he was a director and national coordinator of the Association, and in 1992 was appointed its World President.
