APIR Systems has appointed Andrew Dyster to the newly created role of general manager client development. Mr Dyster will be based in Sydney, and will report to the chief executive officer, Chris Donohoe.

Prior to joining APIR, Mr Dyster held senior leadership, client service and relationship management positions with One Investment Group, Computershare, Xpedite and Merrill Lynch.

Chris Donohoe, said new product developments and an enhanced service offering in the APIR Identification and Coding side of the business, along with growth in demand for Legal Entity Identifiers (LEI) services in the lead up to the 3 January MiFID II compliance deadline, had led to the creation of this new position.

“Andrew brings over 20 years’ institutional client service and relationship management experience across a variety of roles within the financial services industry. He is a welcome addition to the APIR leadership team as the business positions itself for its next phase of growth.”

Mr Dyster holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
