Mr Ryan Bessemer has joined Equity Trustees Limited (EQT) as head of business systems and information technology.

Mr Ryan Bessemer has joined Equity Trustees Limited (EQT) as head of business systems and information technology.

Mr Bessemer has over 19 years’ experience in information technology, in particular in managing and developing security, risk, compliance and IT governance systems, working for a number of listed companies, IT consultancies and software developers. These include Austock Group, Frigrite, consulting firm Volante/Ipex and software developer Software Spectrum International (now Insight Enterprises).

Mr Bessemer holds a graduate associate diploma in business micro computing from Swinburne University, Victoria, and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Professional.

Mr Robin Burns, managing director of Equity Trustees, said that Mr Bessemer will be responsible for ensuring the continuing upgrading of EQT’s technology systems and processes to both support business development and meet regulatory and client needs and expectations.
