Mid-tier accountancy firm HLB Mann Judd has been named best accountancy firm (revenue between $50 million and $500 million) and best NSW firm in the 2016 Financial Review Client Choice Awards.
The awards were presented on 8 March at a dinner in Sydney.
This is the fifth year in a row that HLB Mann Judd has been nominated in the “Best Accountancy Firm” category, with the firm also winning the award in 2013 and 2014.
This is the second year in a row that HLB Mann Judd has won the “Best NSW Firm” award.
Established in 2005 and now in its thirteenth year, The Financial Review Client Choice Awards recognise outstanding performances as voted by clients in the sectors of accounting, law, engineering and management consulting.
The Awards are based on quantitative research into buyers of professional services, conducted independently by Beaton Consulting. Winners are determined by the opinions of over 20,000 clients of professional services organisations who participated in the research.
Mr Tony Fittler, chairman of the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association, said to be consistently nominated in the Client Choice Awards over consecutive years, and to win both awards multiple times, is a vindication of firm’s commitment to meeting client needs.
“Unlike many other awards, the Client Choice Awards are judged on the basis of feedback provided directly, and independently, by clients who have used the firms nominated in the past 12 months.
“This is a vote of confidence from our clients that we are meeting their needs and delivering excellence in client service.
“That HLB Mann Judd’s outstanding service remains top of mind for our clients, year after year, means we are well on the way to achieving our long standing ambition to be the most highly regarded mid-tier accounting firm in Australasia,” Mr Fittler said.
HLB Mann Judd is an Australasian association of independent accounting firms and business and financial advisers, with member firms in Australia and New Zealand.
