MEDIA RELEASE. Accounting and advisory firm HLB Mann Judd has walked away with three accolades at the 2020 Client Choice Awards, including being named Best Accounting Firm (revenue $50 – $200 million), Best Accountant (Litsa Christodulou) and Best Professional (Litsa Christodulou).
It is the sixth time that HLB Mann Judd has won the Best Accounting Firm Award and the second win for Perth-based business advisory services partner, Ms Christodulou.
The Client Choice Awards recognise best practice in the professional services industry and are based on client votes for professional services firms in Australia and New Zealand. There are no panels, judges or self-nominations, with client ratings independently researched by Beaton Consulting + Research.
Chairman of the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association, Mr Tony Fittler, said to win the Best Accounting Firm category for the sixth time in the 15 years the awards have been running is testament to both the operational and technical expertise of the firm.
“The firm has had considerable success in previous years’ with the Client Choice Awards and while we continue to place great emphasis on the manner in which we service clients, we certainly weren’t expecting three wins in such hotly contested categories and we acknowledge the calibre of our fellow finalists.
“We truly value ongoing feedback from our clients, not just at the time of the Awards but year-round. We then integrate any feedback into our operations in delivering the best possible service to clients.
“Current events have highlighted the importance of having strong relationships with clients and being able to communicate with them quickly and effectively, and this is something we strive to achieve at all times.
“Our professionals are some of the best in their chosen fields, so the win is attributable to each of them and their expertise,” he said.
Mr Fittler particularly congratulated Ms Christodulou, who won two of the few individual honours as part of the Client Choice Awards.
“Litsa has a loyal, stable and engaged client base in Perth and her understanding of their financial needs means she also attracts new and prospective clients to the firm.
“The fact that she has won the Best Accountant award – for the second time – is testament to her commitment to delivering outstanding service and, in doing so, achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients. She is a highly regarded member of the Perth partnership and an excellent mentor to staff.
“Clients are rightfully at the heart of growth in any business, so to have the support of your clients through an accolade such as the Client Choice Awards is both humbling and a further endorsement that the strategic path we’re taking is the right one,” he said.
