Lifeplan Funds Management has appointed Rachel Elfverson as business development manager for Queensland.

Ms Elfverson has over 20 years’ experience in the banking and financial services industry.  She was most recently with BT Financial Group as a practice development manager and has also worked with Asgard, Sealcorp and LendLease in business development and compliance roles.  She has diplomas from FINSIA in mortgage lending and financial services (financial planning).

Matt Walsh, head of Lifeplan, said Ms Elfverson brings a broad range of experience and skills to Lifeplan which will help further develop its services and resources for financial planners.

‘The financial advice industry has experienced a great deal of change in recent years and the way that business development managers support financial advisers in their practice is also changing.

“We believe that in the new environment advisers will benefit from a team that can help them identify and implement strategic solutions to add value for their clients.

“Rachel’s knowledge, experience and ability to support advisers will be invaluable in this new environment,” Mr Walsh said.
