MEDIA RELEASE Financial services communications specialist Pritchitt Partners has appointed Osher Fielder as a consultant to help manage its continuing expansion and broaden the range of services it provides to clients.
Pritchitt Partners principal, Claudia Pritchitt, said 2018 had been a year of strong growth for the firm – with a number of new clients and the establishment of the International Financial Communications Group – and the appointment of Mr Fielder is in response to that growth.
“After the damage done to the reputations of financial services institutions at the Royal Commission, we believe there will be an increased demand for effective communications by financial service organisations in 2019 as they seek to explain the improved approaches to client service they have introduced and set out to restore trust,” Ms Pritchitt says.
“Adding Mr Fielder to the consulting staff provides additional client servicing capacity, complements the services already offered, and allows the principals more time to develop and manage client strategies.
“The firm’s philosophy of senior staff having hands on day-to-day management of every client, to ensure they have access to the specialist knowledge and experience of the principals, will continue.
“Pritchitt Partners already enjoys a solid reputation in established public relations approaches, and has been growing its client services to take advantage of evolving opportunities, such as new and developing social media platforms, investor relations, content creation and fintech.
“Osher’s particular interest in fintech and social media management allows us to continue to expand in these important areas of the market,” Ms Pritchitt said.
Mr Fielder said the appointment will allow him to build on his experience in financial services communication, and work side by side with senior consultants who are recognised specialists.
“Pritchitt Partners is regarded as one of the foremost financial communications consultancies, working with leading asset managers, fintech companies, and financial advisers, and this position will allow me to expand my experience in the dynamic space that is Australia’s corporate communications industry,” Mr Fielder said.
Mr Fielder previously worked with international and domestic clients in a range of industries, including financial services, at a major international public relations firm based in Pyrmont.
